The Dodgers appear to have caught a break with their player health following Friday night’s game. In the win against the Rangers, both Max Muncy and Cody Bellinger had to depart with separate injuries. But the good news is that Cody appears to be fine and should play Sunday.
The bad news is that there is looming uncertainty with Max Muncy. After launching a homerun in the first inning, Muncy came out of the game and was replaced by Albert Pujols at first base. The Dodgers were calling it side soreness, though Dave Roberts was hesitant to call it an oblique issue.
