The Dodgers came into tonight’s game after winning the first two games against the Cardinals and were looking for a sweep, but unfortunately fell short.
Alex Wood got the start and was again great at home. He pitched 6 complete innings tonight and allowed just three hits and one earned run. He gave up a solo home run to Matt Carpenter in the top of the third inning. In his six innings of work he only walked one and struck out five.
In the bottom of the third inning, the Dodgers tied the game when Corey Seager went yard on a solo home run to left field.
