Dodgers 1 Reds 0: No Bullpen Necessary

Clayton Kershaw was once again great. He pitched a complete game shutout tonight and only allowed two hits while striking out seven batters. The craziest thing is by Kershaw’s standards this was just an “average” start. Before tonight’s game he had a streak of six games in a row where he struck out 10 or more. Kershaw also walked a batter this evening. (GASP I know). Kershaw now has 95 strikeouts and only five walks on the season which still just blows my mind. Though he was not the strikeout pitcher we usually see, Kershaw got the Reds to hit into 16 ground balls.
