Dodger Stadium to be Converted Into a COVID-19 Vaccination Center

Dodger Stadium has been used as a testing center for the COVID-19 virus almost since the start of the pandemic. That will change as the location adjusts from a testing location to a vaccination location. The drive-thru service will swap over to administer the vaccine to residents of Los Angeles.

The testing operations for the facility will end on Monday, per the city. The process to change Dodger Stadium over to a vaccination center should take about a week. Once ready to go, they should have the capacity to administer 12,000 vaccinations a day.

While closing down Dodger Stadium will slow down the testing capabilities of the city, it will also triple the vaccine distribution.
