Dodger Stadium is already one of the largest COVID-19 testing facilities in the United States. On a daily basis, they have the capability of administering close to 30,000 tests per day with the drive-thru service. Core Response, a non-profit run by actor Sean Penn, hopes to increase that number by 30 to 50 percent in the coming weeks.
But that’s not tall that Penn and Core Response hope to accomplish. In their ideal world, Dodger Stadium could potentially serve as a vaccination center once it becomes widely available to the public. The vaccination could be just as quick as the current process to test, if not faster.
