Dodger Stadium experienced a couple unusual things; first a fire, then a blackout causing a delay

At the end of the first inning the power went out at Dodger Stadium causing a delay in the game. After about a 20-minute delay play resumed.

A Dodgers official told the Associated Press that the official cause of the outage was “a disruption in the city's power feed to the facility.”

The Dodgers were trailing the Milwaukee Brewers 1-0 when the power went out. Kenta Maeda took to the mound to begin the second inning.

There also was an incident before the game. A fire started behind left field in at Elysian Park but was under control before play began.
