The Dodger Stadium College Baseball Classic saw a quartet of college teams play at Dodger Stadium on Sunday, with No. 24 Mississippi State playing to a 5-5 tie with Oklahoma, and No. 14 UCLA outlasting USC 5-3 in 14 innings in Los Angeles.
A pair of two-out, two-run triples highlighted the early scoring in the nightcap, with A.J. Ramirez hitting one to the right field wall for USC in the first inning, then Brett Stephens tripled to right in the fourth inning to score a pair for UCLA to tie the game at 3-3.
Stephens had four hits in the game, including a double, and scored the go-ahead run in the 14th.
