Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register tweeted on Sunday evening that Dino Ebel will become the new Los Angeles Dodgers third base coach this week.
Ebel will replace Chris Woodard. Woodward was hired as the manager of the Texas Rangers on November 2, 2018.
Prior to joining the Angels, Ebel was a player and coach in the Dodger organization from 1988 to 2004. Ebel played for Dodger minor affiliates in the Gulf Coast, Florida State and Pacific Coast Leagues and then in 1991, he became a player-coach for Bakersfield who was the Dodger affiliate in the California League.
