Dee Gordon returned to Dodgers Stadium for the first time in an opposing uniform, wearing the black and neon orange of the Miami Marlins.
Gordon received a warm ovation from the Dodger Stadium crowd Monday.
“You know what, man? I’m going to go out, have fun and play hard. Whatever happens, happens,” Gordon said before Monday’s game.Gordon was the centerpiece in one of Andrew Friedman’s first moves as Dodgers President of Baseball Operations, sending Gordon, Dan Haren and Miguel Rojas to the Marlins in exchange for pitcher Andrew Heaney (eventually flipped for Howie Kendrick), super utility man Kike Hernandez, reliever Chris Hatcher and catcher Austin Barnes.
