Former Dodgers infielder Dee Gordon issued a statement through the Major League Baseball Players Association Friday morning regarding his 80-game suspension for PED use.
Gordon tested postive for two performance-enhancing substances banned by MLB but takes an all-too-familiar stance in the statement, claiming he does not know how those substances got in his system.
Gordon was allowed to play for the Miami Marlins while appealing the positive drug test but apparently informed MLB that he was dropping his appeal immediately following Thursday's 5-3 win over the Dodgers.
