The four Dodgers minor league affiliates combined for just nine runs of offense on Tuesday but still managed a pair of wins thanks to song strong pitching performances.
Dean Kremer struck out nine over six innings in a win for Class-A Rancho Cucamonga over the Modesto Nuts (Mariners) on Tuesday. The right-hander allowed one run on four hits and three walks for his first win of the year.
Kremer, who was drafted by the Dodgers in the 14th round in 2016 out of UNLV, has eight or more strikeouts in three of his last four starts.
