The 2024 All-Star break has arrived, and nobody is happier for this break to arrive than the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers have been reeling for weeks now, and this break couldn’t have come at a better time.
The Dodgers have been derailed by injuries in this first half of the season, and it’s finally caught up to them. L.A. ended the first half of the season on a six-game road trip and only came away with one victory. That 1-5 road trip included a sweep by the National League-leading Philadelphia Phillies.
It’s been tough for the Dodgers, and manager Dave Roberts doesn’t mince any words regarding this break they’ve arrived upon.
