Los Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher River Ryan is expected to remain with the Dodgers after making his MLB debut on Monday night. Ryan was called up to the majors for the first time Monday, but it was unclear if the Dodgers would keep him for more than one start due to the impending returns of Tyler Glasnow and Clayton Kershaw later this week.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said after the game that they plan to keep Ryan for at least one more start for the team. “That’s the thought right now,” Roberts said. “He’s not going anywhere tonight.
