The Los Angeles Dodgers will be without Freddie Freeman for at least a week as he was placed on the injured list due to his ankle injury.

The move was retroactive to March 31, meaning Freeman would be eligible to come off the IL when the Dodgers return home from their current six-game home stand next week.
The first game Freeman would be able to return is on April 11 for the team’s series opener against the Chicago Cubs.
