Dave Roberts Provides Update on Bobby Miller After Dodgers Pitcher Left Game With Scary Injury

Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts provided an update on starting pitcher Bobby Miller, who exited the Cactus League opener after being hit in the head by a line drive.

“Certainly it was a very scary moment,” Roberts said. “From what I’ve gathered he’s gonna be under concussion protocol. I don’t know what that means as far as going forward. Certainly it’s somewhat of a setback. I don’t know how long this protocol lasts.”

Miller had only recorded 12 pitches in the third inning of the matchup with the Chicago Cubs before making an untimely exit due to the scary injury.
