Dave Roberts, Dodgers agree to 4-year deal

In his first three years as manager, Dave Roberts skippered three National League West titles and consecutive World Series appearances in Los Angeles. All offseason, as the Dodgers sorted through his contract situation, they envisioned their success continuing with Roberts at the helm.

On Monday, the two sides put pen to paper. Roberts inked a four-year extension that runs through 2022, the team announced, adding three years onto the contract he was already guaranteed.

The 46-year-old won the 2016 National League Manager of the Year Award and was a finalist again in '17. The Dodgers are 287-200 under Roberts since he took over as skipper before the '16 season.
