The Los Angeles Dodgers participated in arguably the game of the year thus far when they mounted a comeback from five runs down in the ninth inning to win Tuesday’s matchup against the Colorado Rockies, 11-9. The game looked out of reach for the Dodgers, but great at-bats, solid contact, and some luck involved got the Dodgers over the top.
The guys scratched and clawed, but the hero of the game was Dodgers outfielder and likely All-Star Teoscar Hernández. Hernández came up clutch for the Dodgers, which isn’t new or a surprise if you’re familiar with his brief tenure in Dodger blue.
