SEATTLE -- Manny Machado slugged two of the Dodgers' five home runs through seven innings on Friday night in an Interleague game against the Mariners. The Dodgers led, 11-1.
Machado led off the fourth inning with a home run to left field and followed a Justin Turner single in the seventh inning with a shot to center. It was the 20th multiple home run game of Machado's career and gave him four homers since his acquisition by the Dodgers and 28 on the season.
Machado was acquired in a 5-for-1 deal with the Orioles during the All-Star break and had continued to do just about everything he had done in Baltimore except launch home runs.
