CHICAGO (AP) -- Cubs left-hander Tsuyoshi Wada has been removed from his start against the Los Angeles Dodgers with cramping in his pitching shoulder.
Wada gave up a leadoff homer to Kike Hernandez and a single by A.J. Ellis before he was replaced by Travis Wood with no outs in the third inning Monday night.
The Cubs say Wada has cramping in his left deltoid muscle and will be evaluated again Tuesday.
Wada missed the start of the season with a mild left groin strain.
Chicago center fielder Dexter Fowler was replaced by a pinch hitter with two outs in the fifth.
