Corey Seager will likely play shortstop beginning Monday

PHOENIX — Corey Seager will get to wear a glove in an actual game, with the Dodgers planning to use him at shortstop as early as next week.

The plan is for Seager to play five innings at shortstop in a minor league game against the Rangers on Monday, the first day of the minor league schedule.

“Wednesday he’ll be most likely he’ll be back in the A game with us,” manager Dave Roberts said. The Dodgers are off on Tuesday, then host the Rockies on Wednesday night, Mar.
