PHOENIX --- Corey Seager made several plays at shortstop Monday and went 1-for-5 in a minor league spring training game on the back fields at Camelback Ranch. Seager batted second in each first five innings for the Dodgers' Triple-A side.
Seager did make plays to his right and left at shortstop. His last defensive play was charging for a ground ball and making the throw. Seager also ran out to a cut-off position with no problem.
On his one hit, Seager singled to left and then when the outfielder bobbled the ball, Seager tried to go to second and was thrown out.
