Corey Seager hit a two-run shot in the sixth inning on Saturday night, one of four Dodgers home runs in their near-perfect 5-0 win over the Marlins in Miami. That home run was the 25th of the season, and in doing so may have made some history with his brother.
Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager also homered on Saturday, his career-high 28th home run of the season.
The Seagers are the first set of brothers to each hit at least 25 home runs in the same season, confirmed with the Elias Sports Bureau. We looked at this back in August, and the previous high for both brothers in a single season was 24, set by Aaron and Bret Boone in both 2002 and 2003.
