Corey Seager put his name on the map, and all over the Dodgers record book with three home runs on Friday night in a 4-2 victory over the Braves on Friday night at Dodger Stadium.
Seager hit solo home runs in the second and fourth innings against Braves starter Julio Teheran, then added another in the eighth inning against relief pitcher Hunter Cervenka. a Seager became the first Dodgers rookie with three home runs in a game since Don Demeter on April 21, 1959.
He is also just the 20th major league shortstop since 1913 with three home runs in a game, with the only other Dodger on the list Kevin Elster, who opened then-Pac Bell Park in San Francisco on April 11, 2000.
