If it seems like it’s getting repetitive... well, it is,
For the millionth time this season, Cody Bellinger is our player of the series. In a series in which the Dodgers dropped two of three, it was tough to find a lot of good. The offense was pretty much non-existent, and the pitching had some bad moments.
Bellinger had a base hit in all three games, finishing the series 4-for-9. He walked twice, scored two runs, and hit another home run, bringing his season total to 12.
His historic April continues, as he’s officially two total bases away from passing Chase Utley for the most total bases before May 1 in baseball history.
