The Dodgers announced Friday that Clayton Kershaw will make his return to the rotation, coming off the DL to start Saturday’s game against the Mets.
Kershaw has made only one start since May 1, missing a total of 39 games officially but 44 when all is said and done in two separate stints on the disabled list. The lefty missed most of May with left biceps tendonitis and all of June to this point with a lower back strain.
On the season Kershaw has a 2.76 ERA in eight starts, with 53 strikeouts and 11 walks in 49 innings.
