Over the last few years, it has been a question of when Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw would finally hang it up. He has signed multiple one-year contracts to remain with the team, in order to keep flexibility for himself.
Each year, it seems that it could be his last, only for him to return. Kershaw has been the face of the Dodgers organization since his arrival many years ago, so when he does decide to retire, it will be a huge shift for the entire organization.
If this year is his last, then his final start at Dodger Stadium, at least during the regular season, will come against the San Francisco Giants on Saturday.
