Los Angeles — The Dodgers won 7-2 over the Diamondbacks behind a great pitching performance from Clayton Kershaw and a solid all-around offensive attack. Kershaw pitched seven innings and struck out 12 while allowing two hits and one run. Kershaw did not issue a walk.

The win ended the Dodgers three-game losing streak and also their 11-game regular season losing streak to Arizona.

This was Kershaw’s 59th game with 10 or more strikeouts and his 9th career start with 12 or more strikeouts and no walks.

Before the game, manager Dave Roberts said “when you have your best going and under the circumstances on how we’ve been playing, to have [Kershaw] going, its a game that really expect to win and really want to win.
