LOS ANGELES -- Among the minor league coaches announced by the Dodgers for 2016 on Thursday include three coaches new to Class-A Great Lakes in Midland, Mich., all coming from a different spot in the organization in 2015.
Gil Velazquez, 36, is the manager for the Loons, in his second year as a coach after spending his first year as the fourth coach for the rookie-level Arizona League Dodgers in 2015.
Joining Velazquez is Bobby Cuellar, in his second year in the Dodgers organization after serving as pitching coach for rookie-level Ogden last year.
