LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers are close to being able to field an entire roster full of injured players in 2016. The latest injury is relief pitcher Chris Hatcher, placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left oblique before Wednesday's game against the Nationals.
The Dodgers recalled Charlie Culberson from Triple-A Oklahoma City, and started him at shortstop with Corey Seager still feeling ill effects from the stomach bug that kept him at the team hotel on Tuesday.
Hatcher is the 22nd different Dodgers player to be placed on the disabled list this season.
