Dodgers right-hander Chris Anderson was named Texas League pitcher of the week after making history with Double-A Tulsa on Friday.
Anderson allowed four hits, including a solo home run, and one walk in a 2-1 win on Friday over the Arkansas Travelers (Angels). He struck out a season-high eight and threw 104 pitches, the third time in 17 starts this season he has topped the century mark.
Outside of the home run, no other runner reached second base against Anderson.
It was the first nine-inning complete game by a Tulsa Drillers pitcher at ONEOK Field, which opened in 2010.
