Chase De Jong did not enjoy April. In 25 innings, De Jong gave up 15 runs (13 earned), 23 hits, eight walks and struck out 23.
However, in May and June, De Jong pitched 59u2153 innings, gave up 13 runs (10 earned), 35 hits, 17 walks while striking out 54.
On Monday, De Jong started July like he finished June, pitching six innings and giving up a run, three hits and a walk.
