Will Smith helped add on to history yesterday when he became the third Dodgers rookie in a row to hit a walk-off homer in completing the sweep of the Rockies.
Most viewers were shocked that the ball got out, especially to right-center, but he did barrel it.
That brings us to Charley Steiner, who (understandably) gets shit from Dodgers fans for constantly getting what’s going on wrong, especially on home run calls.
But his call of Smith’s homer as a “pop-up” before bursting into Steiner excitement might be a new high-water mark (or low).
