SAN FRANCISCO -- After a slugfest win Saturday afternoon, the Dodgers were punished in the nightcap of their doubleheader with the Giants, 8-3, as Dodgers starter Alex Wood remained winless on the season.
For four innings against Giants starter Johnny Cueto in Game 2, the Dodgers -- who won the twin-bill opener, 15-6 -- were in position for their first doubleheader sweep of the Giants in 30 years.
Considering the continued struggles of the bullpen, though, the Dodgers were fortunate to get the split.
