Player of the day
Carlos Rincon was 2-for-5 and hit his league-leading eighth home run. This home run was special since it was an inside-the-park home run. Rincon continues to show extra-base power with his strikeout rate being one thing to watch.
The Dodgers scored four runs in the eighth to break a tie and went on to beat the Round Rock Express (Rangers) 5-1.
