Three Dodgers minor league affiliates lost on Tuesday, but the strong Oklahoma City pitched rolled on to another win.
Player of the day
After getting a brief one-day call-up to the majors, Carlos Frias returned to the Oklahoma City starting rotation and gave the Triple-A Dodgers yet another strong start. Frias struck out seven and walked none in his 5u2153 innings. He allowed two runs, only one earned, and improved to 2-0 on the season.
Triple-A Oklahoma City
Behind the pitching of Frias and a four-run sixth inning, Oklahoma City beat the Nashville Sounds (Athletics) 6-2 on the road, the sixth win for OKC in the last seven games.
