Carl Crawford is starting to heat up. In his last 10 games, Crawford has a .500 batting average with one home run and two doubles. Don Mattingly has apparently noticed and has said that he may have to find more playing time for Crawford. Mattingly also had this to say:
“When he gets hot, it seems like it doesn't matter to him, lefty, righty, whatever.”
“He's starting to look kind of like himself again”Crawford has missed most of the season with an oblique injury. He went on the 60 day disabled list on April 28th and was not activated again until July 21st.
