Eight months after flipping its menu to focus on fried chicken, Anaheim-based Bruxie is embarking on its next reinvention phase.
Renovations will begin soon at the chain’s Irvine restaurant, which will take on a more contemporary look with warmer colors, wood paneling, comfortable seating and a new logo.
The Irvine restaurant on Culver also is adding TVs and soon will sell craft beer and wine.
Under the direction of new Chief Executive Anthony Smith, Bruxie is elevating the dining experience to boost sales. In the fall, the company announced plans scrap its image as a waffle sandwich shop.
