Former Dodgers pitcher Brett Anderson has a new home, reportedly coming to terms with the Cubs on a one-year contract, per Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports.
The deal is worth $3.5 million with incentives that could take the total up to $10 million, per Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports. The deal is pending a physical, which given Anderson’s injury history is no small feat.
Anderson was plagued by injuries in 2016, limited to just four games and three starts after missing nearly five months after surgery to repair a bulging disc in his back.
