In response to Opening Day of the 2020 Major League Baseball season being indefinitely delayed, MLB.TV made every game from 2018 and 2019 available to stream for free. With that, DodgerBlue.com ranked the best Los Angeles Dodgers games from those two seasons.
Coming in at No. 9 on the list for the 2019 season was a walk-off single off the bat of Kiké Hernandez to defeat the Toronto Blue Jays on Aug. 22. While a walk-off win is always special, it was extra memorable for Hernandez and the Dodgers as it came on his bobblehead night.
The start to the night wasn’t great though as the Dodgers offense was anemic for the first eight innings.
