In response to Opening Day of the 2020 Major League Baseball season being indefinitely delayed, MLB.TV made every game from 2018 and 2019 available to stream for free. With that, DodgerBlue.com ranked the best Los Angeles Dodgers games from those two seasons.
Coming in at No. 7 on list of best games from the 2019 season is the Dodgers’ regular-season finale in which they defeated the San Francisco Giants, 9-0, at Oracle Park.
The game didn’t have any implications on the standings as the Dodgers clinch the National League West for a seventh consecutive season weeks prior, but a win was meant their 106th on the season, setting a new franchise record.
