Bellinger launches 1st World Series homer

A four-run lead already squandered, the Dodgers pieced together an offensive opportunity by opening the fifth with consecutive walks off Astros reliever Collin McHugh, who hadn't pitched in two weeks. Bellinger stepped in with one out and, off a pitch that had given him fits all series long, drove a curveball 378 feet for the first postseason homer of his career.

Bellinger, who was dropped out of the cleanup spot Sunday, had begun this World Series 0-for-13 with eight strikeouts. He struck out in his first two at-bats of Game 5, as well.

At 22 years and 108 days, Bellinger became the youngest player to homer in a World Series game since Miguel Cabrera in 2003.
