During 23 months of intense rehabilitation following a second Tommy John surgery, the doom and doubt certainly crept in on Brandon Beachy.
There are times Beachy admitted he did not know whether he was going to pitch again, let alone return to the Major Leagues.

Dodgers manager Don Mattingly announced Friday that Beachy will start today’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers, his first Major League start since Aug.
