Hitless through six innings at Angel Stadium, the Angels rallied for three runs in the seventh inning of a 3-2 victory over the Dodgers. The win extended the Angels’ Freeway Series winning streak at home to 14-0-2 dating to 2004.
Yunel Escobar’s single against Brandon Morrow to lead off the seventh inning was the Angels’ first hit of the game. Mike Trout doubled with one out, sending Escobar to third, and Morrow walked Albert Pujols to load the bases.
