Andrew McCutchen capped a career high six-hit game with a walk-off three-run home run in the fourteenth inning as the Giants defeated the Dodgers 7-5.
Taking a one-run lead to the bottom of the inning, Wilmer Font had his second chance to seal a victory for the Dodgers. Instead, he gave up consecutive singles to Kelby Tomlinson and Joe Panik.
Font and McCutchen dueled for 11 pitches, on the 12th pitch, McCutchen hit his walk-off home run.
The Dodgers had a similar start in the top of that inning, Yasiel Puig and Cody Bellinger singled, Logan Forsythe got the third straight hit, except it was a run-scoring single to bring home the tie-breaking run.
