Andrew Friedman added some more hardware to his trophy case on Tuesday after being named MLB’s 2020 Executive of the Year.
This made Friedman the third recipient of the award, as the award debuted after the 2018 season.
Friedman beat out two other finalists—Rick Hahn of the White Sox and Erik Neander of the Rays. The votes were cast by all 30 Major League clubs prior to the start of the postseason.
The 2020 version of the Dodgers assembled by Friedman was the best from start to finish. They won 43 games, the most in the 60-game shortened season.
