LOS ANGELES -- Andre Ethier doubled down the right field line in the eighth inning Wednesday night, climbing yet another chart in Dodgers history. He tied Bill Russell for 10th all-time in Dodgers history with 293 career doubles.
With 48 games remaining, there is still room for Ethier to move even further up the doubles list. Gil Hodges is ninth with 294 doubles, Eric Karros is eighth with 302, and Jim Gilliam seventh at 304.
Ethier and Russell are tied for fourth in Los Angeles Dodgers history, 40 behind Steve Garvey for the lead.
