Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier was taken for X-rays after fouling a ball off his lower right leg in the fourth inning on Friday against the Diamondbacks at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick in Scottsdale.
Ethier was batting against Arizona starter Zack Godley in the top of the fourth inning when he fouled a ball off what appeared to be his right shin. Ethier immediately fell to the ground and was slow to get up. He stayed mostly on the ground as trainer Neil Rampe and manager Dave Roberts came to Ethier's aid.
