In my opinion, Jose Peraza got the biggest hit of the night with runners on 1st and 3rd. He just went with the pitch and doubled to the opposite field. He didn’t look like a rookie out there, he looked like a vet. Soon, Howie Kendrick will be back and now there’s a real logjam at 2B. Good problems to have!
Jimmy Rollins is hitting .200 in his last 15 games (.172 in his last 7) with a .250 OB%. Even with a RH pitcher on the mound today, I would play Peraza st SS and bat him leadoff.
