On Monday, the latest round of MLB All-Star voting was released. Two Dodgers lost the support of voters in comparison to the first round of voting that was released the week prior.
In the outfield, Jason Heyward dropped from 10th to 11th place. Diamondbacks’ Lourdes Gurriel Jr. jumped ahead of Heyward by 7,470 votes. Last week, there was only a 537-vote gap between Heyward and Gurriel Jr., which means it will be more difficult for Heyward to reclaim his 10th-place position.
The top six outfielders highlighted in gray will advance to Phase 2 of the All-Star voting starting June 30.
