The Los Angeles Dodgers looked to earn their first sweep over the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field since 2010 on Sunday, although things did not get off to a good start.
Dodgers starter Alex Wood had his worst start of the season, giving up five hits and six runs in just two innings while striking out two and walking three and the Dodgers trailed 6-1 after just two frames.
As has been the case in recent weeks though, the team’s offense fought back and the bullpen held the Rockies at bay, and the Dodgers earned a 10-7 comeback victory to complete the sweep.
